Emerging Asia, Shanghai
I am a French business student, and I joined Emerging Asia as an Intern Analyst for a six-month internship. I was deeply attracted by the stimulating environment where I could satisfy my curiosity about the Asian market.
During my time here, I have met people from China, Europe, and the U.S., with rich experience and all kinds of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
I have two major areas of responsibility as an intern: Consulting & Research, and Business Development.
Over the past few months, I have worked on projects spanning three continents, served clients in sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, energy and technology. I have been involved in creating Executive Summary presentations, and detailed reports using Word and PowerPoint, which has given me a great understanding of the role of entry-level consultants.
In supporting business development, I had the opportunity to work on proposals and briefing documents. I really like those types of projects because I am able to learn about a whole new industry in a brief period of time.
I will return in France in order to finish my graduation requirements from Business School (Audencia).
